C major / Do Mayor
Making Chords from Scales

A Major chord has 3 different Notes -
The 1st, 3rd & 5th from the Scale.

A Major & minor scale has 7 notes -
when we reach number 8 we are one
octave higher, but on the "same" note.
number 8 = (1)
number10 = (3)
number12 = (5)

The Cmajor (Do) chord on the guitar is
almost 2 Cmajor chords in 1!
do,mi,sol, do,mi = 1 3 5 (1) (3)
Or do,mi,sol,do,sol = 1 3 5 (1) (5).
We can take the Cmajor chord in many
different ways, all over the guitars' neck.
All we need is to include the 3 notes;
do, mi, sol (1-3-5).
